Principles for daily practice in DDD
Dear Colleagues,
Come visit us in Geneva for our annual Sagittal Balance course, which will take place on October 14th and
15th, 2022.
The theory course will take place on Friday October 14th, and will concentrate on surgical planning for
thoraco-lumbar surgery, by applying sagittal balance concepts. A special topic of interest will be prevention
and management of junctional complications of the thoraco-lumbar (PJK) and lumbo-sacral (DJK) regions.
Jean Charles Le Huec will also present his latest findings in sagittal parameters of the cervical spine and
management of mechanical complications of the cervico-thoracic junction.
We encourage participants to bring along surgical cases to discuss, a fair amount of time will be allocated
for interaction with the faculty.
The traditional anatomical workshop will take place on Saturday October 15th. Participants will have the
opportunity to practice posterior correction osteotomies of the thoracic and lumbar spine, as well as lateral
and anterior interbody fusion approaches.
Number of places are limited to 40 pax on October 14th and 20 pax on October 15th.
